Pet Friendly plate – Help Spread the Word!

Did you know that SNSI has spent every penny of the proceeds from the Pet Friendly license plate on spay/neuter surgeries? That’s right, SNSI has funded nearly 75,000 surgeries since receiving the plate in 2011.

We’d like to fund even more surgeries, and that’s where you come in! You can help cats and dogs by helping us promote the Pet Friendly plate. Here’s what you can do:

  1. Share our artwork on your social media page to increase awareness and encourage others to purchase the plate. You can find our artwork on our homepage.

2. Order a marketing kit from us. They’re free of charge, and we’ll send as much (or as little) info as you request. Kits include brochures, a window cling, postcards, and flyers. All you need to do is drop them off at a business in your area of the state. Great ideas for drop-offs include vet offices and other pet-related business (pet stores, groomers, doggy day care, etc.) Or simply drop them off at a local coffee shop or restaurant. Most businesses are happy to help promote a good cause!

To request a kit, email us at info@GetThemFixed.org and let us know how many businesses you’d like to visit. We’ll create a kit and drop it in the mail. You’ll be doing great work and feeling good to know you’re helping Indiana’s animals!

Memorials

LabCrystal Burris – In memory of Charlie Burris, also known as “The World’s Best Dog”. Charlie’s happy disposition and superb behavior earned him this high honor.

He is sorely missed.

Mike and Kate Million –

We said goodbye to both our sweet boys during the holidays: Ruger the day after Thanksgiving and Kahne on Christmas Eve.  We adopted them when they were 2 and had 12 wonderful years together – years that passed much too quickly. We’ll always remember Ruger burying himself in the tomato plants to pick ripe ones off the vine and Kahne making sure he was the first one on the bed so he could get a pillow. Bedtime was crazy – 4 bodies (12 feet!) running to our king bed and only 3 bodies finding a spot. You can be sure that one of the humans was always the one left out – the boys were big, strong and knew how to throw a body block!

We just know Kahne and Ruger are playing one of their favorite games again – standing on opposite sides of a field and running full force toward each other until they stand on their hind legs and crash their chests together. They were great dogs. We miss them so much.

Black Labs

Black and White dogVicki Deisner – Dottie was Vicki’s special pup. She traveled with Vicki whenever a dog was allowed to tag along. And Dottie patiently allowed her mom to dress her up so that she always looked her best. Dottie is deeply missed.
